Expand description

A buffer containing a cursor image.

You can access the WlBuffer via Deref.

Note that this buffer is internally managed by wayland-cursor, as such you should not try to act on it beyond assigning it to wl_surfaces.

Implementations§

source§

impl CursorImageBuffer

source

pub(crate) fn new( conn: &Connection, theme: &mut CursorTheme, image: &XCursorImage, ) -> Self

Construct a new CursorImageBuffer

This function appends the pixels of the image to the provided file, and constructs a wl_buffer on that data.

source

pub fn dimensions(&self) -> (u32, u32)

Dimensions of this image

source

pub fn hotspot(&self) -> (u32, u32)

Location of the pointer hotspot in this image

source

pub fn delay(&self) -> u32

Time (in milliseconds) for which this image should be displayed

Methods from Deref<Target = WlBuffer>§

source

pub fn destroy(&self)

destroy a buffer

Destroy a buffer. If and how you need to release the backing storage is defined by the buffer factory interface.

For possible side-effects to a surface, see wl_surface.attach.

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

source§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
source§

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T>) -> Rc<dyn Any>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
source§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
