Variants

NonReplaced(NonReplacedContents)

Any kind of content that is not replaced nor a widget, including the contents of pseudo-elements.

Widget(NonReplacedContents)

A widget with native appearance. This has several behavior in common with replaced elements, but isn’t fully replaced (see discussion in https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12876). Examples: <input>, <textarea>, <select>… https://drafts.csswg.org/css-ui/#widget

Replaced(ReplacedContents)

Example: an <img src=…> element. https://drafts.csswg.org/css2/conform.html#replaced-element
