Struct icu_calendar::types::IsoSecond

source ·
pub struct IsoSecond(u8);
Expand description

An ISO-8601 second component, for use with ISO calendars.

Must be within inclusive bounds [0, 61]. 60 accommodates for leap seconds.

The value could also be equal to 60 or 61, to indicate the end of a leap second, with the writing 23:59:61.000000000Z or 23:59:60.000000000Z. These examples, if used with this goal, would correspond to the same time as the next day, at time 00:00:00.000000000Z. This is an extension to ISO 8601.

Tuple Fields§

Implementations§

source§

impl IsoSecond

source

pub const fn number(self) -> u8

Gets the numeric value for this component.

source

pub const fn zero() -> IsoSecond

Creates a new value at 0.

source§

impl IsoSecond

source

pub fn try_add(self, other: u8) -> Option<Self>

Attempts to add two values. Returns Some if the sum is within bounds. Returns None if the sum is out of bounds.

source

pub fn try_sub(self, other: u8) -> Option<Self>

Attempts to subtract two values. Returns Some if the difference is within bounds. Returns None if the difference is out of bounds.
